Download EBookNew Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has activated the UPSC 2020 application correction window phase 2 on July 20, 2020. Earlier the window was activated from July 07 to 13, 2020 (05:30 PM). The exam centre can be changed for the UPSC 2020 (Preliminary)/ CSE (Main) exam. Along with the UPSC CSE 2020 (Prelims and Mains) exam centre, aspirants can also correct the exam centre for Indian Forest Service (Prelims). UPSC will also activate the application withdrawal window from August 01 to 08, 2020. The last date to make correction in IAS exam centre is Juy 24. Candidates who wish to change their exam centre of UPSC 2020 prelims can do that by visiting the official website and following the steps mentioned here. Know more details.

Only those candidates who have successfully submitted their online applications during the given time period (February 02 to March 03, 2020) can change the exam centre.

UPSC aspirants who are not interested to change the exam centre are not required to log in.

While changing their exam centre, aspirants will have to enter their RID (Registration ID) of the application form they have submitted. They will also have to enter two OTPs which will be sent to their registered email ID and mobile number.

Candidates who forget their RID can retrieve from the option available on the page.

Once the exam centre is changed it will not be changed again.

Read the instructions mentioned on this page carefully and click on "Click here"

A new page will open, read the instructions and click on "YES"

Enter your credentials - Registration-Id, CAPTCHA and click on "Continue"

In the end, save the slip and take a printout of it as a proof for future reference.

Candidates will receive email and SMS as confirmation of the change in the exam centre.
The UPSC CSE notification was released on February 12, 2020, which had the UPSC exam centre list mentioned in it. This year a total of 72 UPSC exam centres were allotted for Preliminary exam of CSE while 24 UPSC exam centres were allotted for mains. The complete address of the exam centre will be mentioned on the candidate's admit card.
