It was on September 24, 2021 that the UPSC had declared the final result of UPSC IAS 2020 exam was declared in online mode on the official website upsc.gov.in. A total of 761 candidates had qualified for the final stage of the selection process.

How to resolve a tie in the UPSC IAS result 2020
If two or more candidates have got equal aggregate marks in the CSE 2020, then the candidate who has got more marks in the compulsory and personality test has been ranked higher. If the aggregate marks are still the same then the older candidate will be ranked higher.

UPSC CSE 2020 Exam Toppers
The UPSC CSE interview was conducted from August 2 to September 22, 2021. The final result of the UPSC exam was declared a day after the conclusion of the interviews. Among the toppers was Shubham Kumar who had secured AIR 1, followed by Jagriti Awasthi who had got second rank and Ankita Jain had secured the third rank.
