The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the exam pattern for the Combined Section Officers’ Grade ‘B’ Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) for the year 2025. The UPSC admit cards for the LDCE, Combined Stenos’ Grade B exam have also been issued on the official website, upsconline.gov.in.

The commission will conduct the competitive exam at nine exam centres across the country – Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida (Gautam Buddha Nagar), Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Gurugram.
The exam is conducted for recruitment across various categories and the final vacancies have not been finalized yet.

The objective-type paper will carry 150 marks and subjective-type will consist of 200 marks. The UPSC has announced the detailed exam pattern for the recruitment exam.
