UPSC Civil Services 2019 result is available in PDF format with the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Candidates who have appeared for prelims exam on June 2 can check their result from the official website of UPSC - upsc.gov.in .

A total of 11845 candidates have qualified UPSC Civil Services 2019 prelims exam. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the UPSC Civil Services 2019 prelims result are eligible to appear for mains exam. UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam 2019 is scheduled to be held from September 20 to 24.
The mains exam of UPSC Civil services consists of nine papers where Paper A (Indian Languages) and Paper B (English) are qualifying in nature whereas there are seven compulsory papers. The total marks allotted to UPSC Civil Services mains exam is 1750. However, candidates need to score a minimum of 25% marks in Paper A and B (qualifying papers) as well as compulsory papers.
The next stage of the selection process is Personality Test. Candidates who qualify the mains exam will appear for personality test which is expected to be held in February 2020. The result of this personality test and marks obtained in all seven compulsory papers of the mains exam will be taken into consideration for the final result of UPSC Civil Services exam.
UPSC conducts Civil Services Exam annually for the recruitment of candidates for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services Group A and Group B. A total of 896 vacancies have been announced for the year 2019 recruitment.
