NEW DELHI, MAY 1 : Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the admit card of Civil Services for the prelims exam on May 1, 2019. The admit card has been released in the online mode and can be downloaded till June 2, 2019.
Candidates who had applied successfully for the exam can download the admit card from the official website – upsc.gov.in
To access UPSC Civil Services admit card 2019 for prelims, candidates have to log in to the website with their registration/roll number. The hall ticket contains relevant information pertaining to the exam such as name of candidate, roll number, registration number, date and time of test, address of exam centre, guidelines to be followed on the day of exam, etc.
After downloading the admit card, candidates should check the details printed on the admit card. If candidates find discrepancies in the information printed on it, they should contact the Commission and get the same rectified.
It is mandatory for candidates to carry a copy of the admit card on the day of exam. Candidates failing to produce the call letter on the day of the test will not be allowed to appear for the test.
Along with the admit card, candidates should also carry one valid photo-identity proof to the exam centre. The documents which are considered as photo identity proof include Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, driving licence, etc.
The prelims stage of UPSC Civil Services is scheduled to be conducted on June 2, 2019. Based on the performance in prelims candidates will be shortlisted for mains exam. Candidates qualifying mains will be called for personality test. After the interview, the Commission will prepare the final result of the exam based on aggregate marks of candidates in mains and personality test.
On the basis of the final result, candidates will be recruited to All India Services like Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Services (IPS) and Indian Forest Services (IFS) and Central Services such as Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), Indian Foreign Service, etc.
