NEW DELHI, APRIL 10: Union Public Service Commission has released the notification and application form of Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS) on April 10, 2019. The last day to fill the application form is May 6, 2019. Only those candidates who have completed or appearing final year of MBBS examination can apply for UPSC CMS 2019.
The application form is available online on the official website of UPSC - upsc.gov.in. Candidates can fill the application form in two parts - part I and II. To fill the application form, candidates first have to register with email id and basic details. In part II of the application form, candidates have to select exam centre, upload the scanned photograph (1kb to 40 kb) and signature (3 kb to 40 kb) and select the mode of payment.
Candidates belonging to unreserved categories will have to pay Rs. 200 whereas female/SC/ST/PwD candidates are exempted from fee payment. The payment of application fee can be done either through online mode by using Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Debit card or Internet Banking and offline through Bank challan. After paying the application fee, candidates must take a print out of application form and payment receipt.
As many as 965 vacancies have been announced for UPSC CMS 2019. The selection of the candidates for CMS is done on the basis of computer-based examination and personality test. Shortlisted candidates are recruited for the posts of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services, Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services, General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council etc.
