NEW DELHI, APRIL 21: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had conducted NDA 1 exam on April 21, 2019, in the offline mode. The written exam of NDA was conducted for two papers - Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT).

NDA 1 written test for Maths paper was held from 10 am to 12.30 pm while the paper on GAT was conducted from 2 to 4.30 pm across various centres of India.
NDA Mathematics exam was conducted for 120 objective type questions for 300 marks. For GAT, there were 150 objective type questions for 600 marks. The marks allotted for each question in the Maths paper was 2.5 while for GAT paper, 4 marks were allotted. In case for wrong answers, one-third of the marks for each question will be deducted.
Candidates had to carry their admit and one photo identity proof to the exam centre of NDA. The exam conducting authority released the admit card of NDA 1 2019 on March 29. Candidates could download the admit card from the official website - upsc.gov.in.
Some of the coaching institutes are likely to release the NDA answer key shortly. Candidates can check the answers for questions asked in the papers as per their sets - A, B, C and D. NDA result for written exam will be declared in June 2019. Selected candidates based on the written exam will be eligible for SSB interview.
The SSB Interview of NDA is conducted for 900 marks. The SSB Interview consists of two stages - stage 1 and stage 2. The stage 1 of SSB Interview comprises Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception and Description Test (PP&DT) and stage 2 comprises Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. These tests are conducted over 4 days.
UPSC conducts NDA exam twice a year for the recruitment of candidates to the three different services - Armed force, Navy and Air Force. A total of 392 vacancies have been announced for NDA 1 2019 recruitment.
