NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE) 2023 admit card for mains exams. Candidates who cleared the UPSC CSE preliminary examination can download the admit card through the official website, upsc.gov.in.
Candidates will have to enter their registration ID or roll number and date of birth to download the UPSC CSE mains admit card. On the exam day, candidates need to carry an original valid photo ID card along with the UPSC CSE 2023 mains admit card.
The commission will conduct the UPSC CSE mains exam on September 15, 2023. The UPSC mains exam will consist of nine papers that are of subjective type and three hours each. Among the nine main papers, the candidates have been given a choice to choose their optional subject for two papers. The language papers A and B are of 300 marks each and qualifying nature. The marks obtained in the general studies (GS) papers and two optional papers are used to calculate the final merit. The GS and optional papers are of 250 marks each. The maximum mark for the UPSC Mains exam is 1750.
