NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission has concluded the UPSC IAS 2022 mains exam 2022 successfully for Paper 1 (essay) today, September 16. The UPSC IAS 2022 exam for mains is being conducted in offline mode at various exam centre across the country. The UPSC CSE 2022 question paper for paper 1 had two sections – Sections “A” and “B”. Each section had four topics to write an essay on. Candidates were asked to write two essays of 1000 to 1200 words each choosing one from sections A & B.
As per the candidate’s input, the UPSC CSE 2022 mains paper 1 of the essay was moderate. It leans a bit towards rigor as it requires a lot of thought. This is the highest scoring paper of all and will give the maximum boost to your overall rank in the final result. As per the UPSC IAS mains exam pattern 2022, the essay paper carried a total of 250 marks and this paper was conducted for three hours.

The remaining papers of UPSC CSE mains exam 2022 will be conducted on September 17, 18, 24 & 25, 2022. The authorities will conduct the UPSC IAS 2022 Paper II (General Studies - I) and Paper-III (General Studies-II) tomorrow, September 17. Candidates who are appearing in the exam have to bring the USPC IAS admit card 2022 for mains to the exam centre.
