NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the UPSC CSE 2022 prelims on June 5 in offline mode. The UPSC CSE 2022 prelims exam will be conducted at various exam centres across India. Before appearing for UPSC CSE 2022 exam, applicants must know the UPSC exam timings, exam day guidelines, what documents and things to carry to the exam centre.

UPSC CSE Prelims 2022 Exam Timings

The UPSC IAS prelims exam 2022 consists of two papers, which will be conducted in two shifts. Applicants can check the UPSC CSE 2022 exam time below. Make sure they arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled time to avoid last-minute problems.

UPSC IAS Prelims 2022 - Exam day guidelines

Candidates can check the UPSC CSE 2022 prelims exam day guidelines before arriving to the exam centre. Some of the guidelines are as follows.

  • Applicants must reach the UPSC CSE exam centre 40 to 60 minutes prior to the reporting time and cooperate with staff during security checks at the examination centre.

  • All the candidates must wear a face mask.

  • Do not carry any electronic devices, mobile phones, smartwatches, and banned items to the exam centres.

  • Keep your valuable or costly things safe on the exam centre.

Documents to carry at UPSC CSE 2022 exam centre

The commission allows some documents and things to carry to the UPSC IAS 2022 exam centre. Candidates can check the below-mentioned documents and things to take at exam centre.

  • Candidates must carry their printout of UPSC CSE admit card 2022.

  • Should carry their original valid photo ID card like Voter ID, Aadhaar, Passport, etc.

  • Applicants can carry a black ballpoint pen for answering the OMR answer sheets and attendance list.

  • Candidates who belong to the PwDB category need to carry separate admit cards. Also, Scribe candidates are also required to carry a scribe certificate.

  • Simple and basic watches will be allowed.
