NEW DELHI - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct the mains UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2020 on October 18, 2020. This year the UPSC ESE exam is being conducted under new guidelines then before due to the COVID-19 pandemic across the world. These new guidelines have been issued for the ESE 2020 exam by the UPSC and Government of India. The new UPSC CSE 2020 guidelines and SOPs are also mentioned in the UPSC ESE admit card 2020.

Applicants need to wear a face mask or shield for the full duration of the exam

Candidates must carry their own hand sanitizer to the UPSC ESE exam centre in a transparent bottle

No drinking water will be provided by the exam conducting authorities, so candidates should carry their own drinking water that too in a transparent bottle

Applicants have to follow all the social distancing guidelines and SOPs as issued by the Government of India
UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2020 General Instructions

Applicants need to carry the UPSC ESE admit card or else they won’t be allowed to give the UPSC ESE 2020 mains exam

Candidates should carry their own stationary on the examination day as nothing will be provided at the exam centre

Applicants need a carry a original valid photo ID card to the exam on the exam day

No electronic devices or gadgets like digital watch, mobile, headphones, etc. are allowed inside the examination hall
-
Applicants won’t be allowed to leave the examination hall before the stipulated time of the exam is over
UPSC exam 2020 - Selection Process
UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2020 is a three stage selection process - prelims, mains and interview. Candidates qualifying all these stages will be recruited to Group A and B engineering services in various organisations of the Government of India.
