UPSC EPFO 2021 new exam date announced; Check important guidelines here

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission announced that the UPSC Recruitment Test for 421 posts of Enforcement Officer-Accounts Officer, EPFO, will now be held on September 5, 2021. Previously, the exam was scheduled to be held on May 9, 2021, however, due to the rising number of COVID 19 cases the UPSC EPFO exam was deferred.

The UPSC EPFO 2021 exam would be held in offline mode and the admit card for the same will be issued at least a fortnight before the entrance test.

Important instructions for students taking the UPSC EPFO 2021 exam

• It is mandatory for candidates to carry the UPSC EPFO admit card to the test centre, without which they will not be allowed to appear for the exam

• Candidates must check the seating plan before they proceed to the exam hall. The seating plan will be displayed at the UPSC EPFO exam centre.

• As per the UPSC EPFO exam guideline, candidates must ensure that they reach the test centre at least one hour before the commencement of the exam

• No separate rough sheet will be provided and the same would be attached to the OMR sheet where the candidates can do the rough work

• Those appearing for the UPSC EPFO exam must carry with them a black ball point pen to encircle the correct answer

• Any candidate found indulging any in any kind of malpractice would be disqualified

• No candidate will be permitted to go to the washroom before the last thirty minutes of the UPSC EPFO 2021 exam

• Before proceeding to answer the questions in the UPSC EPFO exam, candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully.

The UPSC EPFO exam will be of two hours duration and candidates should try to answer a maximum number of multiple-choice questions.
