UPSC ESE Result 2020 For Prelims Exam Announced; Check details here

NEW DELHI: UPSC has declared the result of UPSC ESE Prelims 2020 exam in PDF format on February 20. The result has been released on upsc.nic.in for the prelims exam which was conducted on January 05, 2020. As per the result of UPSC ESE Prelims exam, a total of 2228 candidates have qualified in the prelims exam. Out of total 2228 candidates, 801 candidates have been selected for Civil Engineering, 285 for Mechanical Engineering, 537 for Electrical Engineering and 605 for Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. UPSC released the roll number of the qualified candidates. UPSC has also mentioned along with the result that final marks and cut‐off marks of ESE (Preliminary) Examination will be uploaded on the website after the declaration of the final result.

- Visit the official website: upsc.gov.in
- In the “Active Examinations,” section click on “Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020”
- Search your roll number
- Download the result PDF for future reference
Only those candidates have qualified the prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the mains exam. The mains exam is expected to conduct on June 28, 2020. All those candidates who have qualified the mains exam will be called for the final round - personality test. UPSC released the ESE 2020 notification on September 25, 2019, and the exam is been conducted to recruit 496 candidates for the group A and B posts in Indian Railway, Indian Ordnance Factories, Indian Skill Development Service, under Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
