UPSC IAS 2022: Last date for application withdrawal today

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission closing the UPSC IAS application 2022 withdrawal window today March 7, 2022. Applicants who successfully applied can withdraw their application today by 6 PM at the UPSC official website - upsc.gov.in. Candidates who request to generate an OTP to withdraw the UPSC Civil Service application 2022 will only be accepted until 5:30 pm by today.

Earlier, the commission activated the UPSC application withdrawal facility link on March 1, 2022. Now, the withdrawal facility is going to end today by 6 PM as mentioned in the UPSC official notification 2022. By using registration number, candidates can withdraw their UPSC application form 2022. Here are the steps to withdraw the Civil Service application form 2022, candidates can go through it.

After submitting the request to withdraw the UPSC IAS application form 2022, the candidate should print the approved receipt. Once the applicant withdraws the IAS application form, it cannot be renewed in the future. UPSC has no provision for refund of any fees paid by the applicants, so if the UPSC IAS application is successfully withdrawn, the fee will not be refunded to the applicant. Candidates who successfully complete the application withdrawal, an automatically generated SMS and email will be sent to applicants registered email ID and mobile number.

Note: Applicants are advised not to share OTPs received via email and SMS with anyone.

Step by step to withdraw the UPSC application form 2022

Step 1: First, visit the official website of UPSC upsconline.nic.in for withdrawal of application.

Step 2: Click the link “ Online request for withdrawal of application of UPSC’

Step 3: Now, Click the link “click here” mentioned to withdrawal of application on the right side of the screen.

Step 4: On the next tab, important instructions are provided for withdrawal of the application. Read the instructions carefully and click the ‘Yes’ button.

Step 5: Enter your Registration number and click the ‘continue button’.

Step 6: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.

Step 7: Enter the OTP you received.

Step 8: A successful application withdrawal message will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.

Step 9: Print the approved receipt for your future reference.
