Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) final result 2023. Nikhil Sindh and Nishchal Mittal have topped the UPSC ISS and UPSC IES 2023 respectively. The final result along with the merit list has been issued on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
The commission conducted the UPSC IES and ISS exam from June 23 to 25. Shortlisted candidates attended the interview from December 18 to 21. A total of 18 candidates were recommended for IES and 33 for ISS posts.
The results of seven candidates, 3 in IES and 4 in ISS, are provisional in nature. “The offer of appointment to the candidates whose result has been kept provisional will not be issued till the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates and till clarifies the provisional status of these candidates,” it said.
The results of these candidates will be valid for three months only. If they fail to produce the required documents, the candidature will be cancelled, the UPSC clarified.
Marks of the candidates will be made available on the website within fifteen days from the date of publication of the result.

UPSC ISS 2023 merit list
Here’s the list of 33 candidates recommended for Indian Statistical Service in the order of merit. “Due to non-availability of PwBD-4 & 5 candidate, 01 vacancy of General category have been kept vacant,” the commission said.
