In UPSC IFS final result, 143 candidates secure posts, Kanika Anabh gets AIR 1

UPSC IFS result 2025 withheld for 7 candidates, candidature of 51 applicants is provisional. Marks will be available on upsc.gov.in within 15 days.
The Union Public Service Commission has declared the final result of the Indian Forest Services (IFS) examination. Candidates can check their results on the official website, upsc.gov.in. 143 candidates have been recommended for appointment to IFS posts. Kanika Anabh has clinched the All India Rank (AIR) 1.
The commission informed that the candidature of 51 recommended candidates is provisional while the UPSC IFS results have been withheld for seven candidates.
“Based on the result of the written part of the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2024 held by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION from 24th November to 01st December, 2024, and the interviews for Personality Test held from 21st April to 2nd May, 2025, following is the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to the posts in Indian Forest Service,” said UPSC in the latest notice.

The marks of candidates will be made available 15 days from the date of result declaration, it added.
- Go to the official website, upsc.gov.in
- Click on the link “Final Result: Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2024”
- A PDF will be displayed on the screen
- Check your result and download the PDF for future reference
UPSC IFS Result: Recommended candidates
UPSC informed that two current vacancies of PwBD-1 have been carried forward to the next recruitment year due to non-availability of candidates. The category-wise numbers of recommended candidates are as follows:
