NEW DELHI, JUNE 12: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has notified that the counselling of UPSEE 2019 will commence from the last week of June. Candidates, who have qualified the examination, will be able to start the registration process for admission into the various courses offered by UPSEE 2019 from the declared week. The counselling will be conducted in online mode and there will tentatively be three rounds.
During the counselling process, the qualified candidates will have to register first by filling the required details. The admission fee also has to be paid and the required documents have to be uploaded. The preferred colleges and courses have to be selected by the candidates. Registered candidates will be allotted seats as per their merit, preferences and availability of seat. The candidates will be able to choose their decision regarding the allotment from the three options - freeze, float and withdrawal.
All of the allotted candidates will be required to report to their respective institute within the given dates. Failure to report within the allotted dates will lead to disqualification of the candidates. The authorities will also conduct spot round counselling if seats remain vacant.
About UPSEE 2019
UPSEE 2019 was conducted on April 21 by the admission authorities. The examination was conducted for degree level admissions into the participating institutes assigned to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). The authorities had released the result of UPSEE 2019 on June 3.
