NEW DELHI, APRIL 20: Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh, has released the admit card of UPSEE 2018 in online mode on April 20 for all eligible candidates who have filled the application form. Admit cards can be downloaded by going to the UPSEE portal and logging-in using one’s application number and password. An important document required to take the entrance exam, the admit card will contain details like the name of the candidate, roll and application number. The last date to download admit cards is April 29.

The admit card is issued for only those candidates who have successfully filled the application form and paid the applicable applicable application fee.

Procedure to download the admit card

The admit card will be available in online mode and can be downloaded before expiry of deadline.

  • Click on the admit card download link
  • Log in using UPSEE 2018 application number and password
  • Upon successful log-in, the admit card will be displayed on screen
  • Download and take printout of the admit card after verifying that the details mentioned on it are correct.

If the details mentioned on the admit card, like the name or signature of the candidate, are incorrect or illegible, the candidate must get in touch with authorities concerned and get them rectified.

Details mentioned on the admit card

Apart from personal details of the candidate, the admit card carries exam-related details like roll number, name and address of exam centre, and also exam guidelines. The candidate needs to go through the guidelines carefully, as non-conformity may lead to disqualification of candidature. An important exam-day guideline include reaching the exam centre some time before exam commences so as to complete formalities like frisking and registration.

On the day of the exam, the admit card must be produced to the exam invigilator when demanded. Also, the admit card shouldn’t be lost or damaged even after the exam is over, as it will be needed to complete other admission formalities.

About UPSEE

The pen and paper based entrance exam will be conducted on April 29. During the exam, candidates will be provided OMR sheets where they have to enter their responses using ballpoint pen (black or blue). Response sheets will be evaluated using OMR methodology.

The question paper of the exam will be of 2 hours 30 minutes, during which the candidate will have to answer 150 questions. Each correct response carries 4 marks, while for incorrect attempt 1 mark will be deducted.

The exam conducting body hasn’t announced when the results of the entrance exam will be declared, but it could be announced any time around the 1st week of June. The authorities might also release the answer keys before that, using which the candidate will be able to calculate probable scores.
