Candidates can estimate their UPSSSC scores using the marking scheme. Each correct answer carries one mark, while 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect response. No marks are awarded or deducted for unanswered questions. The estimated score can be calculated using the following formula:
Score = (Number of correct answers × 1) − (Number of incorrect answers × 0.25)
According to UPSSSC chairman SN Sabat, arrangements were made to install and ensure the proper functioning of jammers at examination centres in 20 districts. The measure was intended to prevent unauthorised electronic communication during the examination. The Preliminary Eligibility Test is conducted by UPSSSC to establish a common screening system for recruitment to various Group C government posts in Uttar Pradesh. It is a qualifying and screening examination that allows eligible candidates to apply for recruitment to different posts.
