UPSSSC to start Technical Assistant Group-C Main Exam 2024 registration on May 5 at upsssc.gov.in

The UPSSSC will conduct the examination to fill 3,446 vacancies of Technical Assistant Group-C in agriculture department.
NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has will start accepting online applications for the main examination to fill 3,446 vacancies of the Technical Assistant Group-C in state agriculture department on May 1. Candidates will be able to fill the application form on the official website, upsssc.gov.in, till May 5.
The UPSSSC said the last date of fee adjustment and amendment in application is June 7. Only those candidates who have appeared in the Uttar Pradesg Preliminary Eligibility Test (UP PET 2023) can apply for the Technical Assistant Group C Main Exam 2024. Candidates who scored zero or negative marks in absolute score or normalised score in the UP PET 2023 will not be shortlisted for the main examination.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for Technical Assistant Group-C main examination 2024 should have bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture or forestry from a recognised university. Applicants should be in the age group of 21 to 40 years on July 1, 2024. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST and such other categories will be given relaxation in upper age limit.

Exam pattern
Technical Assistant Group-C main examination will have 100 questions, which students will have to attempt in 120 minutes. Candidates will be awarded one mark for each question. For each wrong response, 25% of marks assigned to the question will be deducted.
