UPTAC counselling 2025 registration begins from May 27 for BTech admission

UPTAC BTech Counselling 2025: The last date to complete the counselling registration process for JEE Main and non-JEE, CUET UG candidates is June 30. Register online at uptac.admissions.nic.in.
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU) will open the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) registration portal for BTech counselling 2025 on May 27. Candidates will be able to register for UPTAC counselling 2025 through the official website, uptac.admissions.nic.in.
The institute conducts UPTAC counselling based on valid scores in Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main), Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG), and National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) for admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and other undergraduate programmes.
As per the official website, the last date to complete the registration process for UPTAC BTech counselling 2025 for JEE Main and non-JEE, CUET UG candidates is June 30, 2025. For CUET UG candidates, the counselling schedule will be announced later, after the declaration of CUET UG results.
Main counselling will prioritise candidates who are residents of Uttar Pradesh, those who completed qualifying examinations from recognised institutions in the state, or children of central government employees posted in Uttar Pradesh. If seats remain vacant after the main counselling, they will be filled through a special counselling round open to all eligible candidates across the country.
UPTAC Counselling 2025: Registration fee
Candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,000 for both main and special rounds of UPTAC counselling 2025. Candidates who are allotted seats in the first round will be required to pay a seat confirmation fee of Rs 20,000 for those belonging to the General, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories. For candidates from the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories, the fee is Rs 12,000.
