UPTAC Counselling 2026: Revised schedule out for BTech, integrated MTech and BDes admissions

UPTAC Counselling 2026: Round 1 choice filling will begin on July 13, while seat allotment will be announced on July 18.
Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has released the tentative schedule for the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2026 for admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Integrated Master of Technology (MTech), and Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes.
As per the schedule, candidates eligible through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) can begin filling and locking their choices for round 1 from July 13 to 16, 2026.
According to the UPTAC 2026 counselling schedule notice, registration , fee payment, document upload and verification for round 1 have already been completed. The counselling process is open only to JEE Main and UCEED-qualified candidates who have either passed Class 12 from Uttar Pradesh or are domiciled in the state during the regular rounds.

After the UPTAC seat allotment results 2026 are announced for each round, candidates will have to choose either the 'freeze' or 'float' option for the allotted seat.
To confirm their choice, candidates are required to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 20,000 for general and OBC category candidates and Rs 12,000 for SC and ST candidates. Once the payment is successful, a seat acceptance confirmation will be generated.
