New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has cancelled the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 which was scheduled to be conducted today. As per the reports, UPTET 2021 exam was cancelled because of a question paper leak on the WhatsApp group. The UPTET 2021 exam will now be conducted after a month. The exact date of the UPTET exam will be announced later by UPBEB. Candidates need not be required to pay any application fee again.

Approximately 20 lakhs candidates had registered for the UPTET 2021 exam. The UPTET 2021 exam was scheduled to be conducted at several exam centres across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. There will be two papers in the UPTET 2021 exam. UPTET paper 1 will be conducted from 10 AM to 12:30 PM for primary school teachers for classes 1 to 5. Whereas UPTET 2021 paper 2 is for higher primary school teachers for classes 6 to 8 which will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5 PM.

According to the reports, the cancelled UPTET 2021 exam will be conducted after a month and they will not be needed to pay the application fee again.
Previously, the UPTET eligibility certificate was valid for seven years. However, of late the Uttar Pradesh state government has announced that for all the candidates who qualify the UPTET exam 2021, their eligibility certificate will be valid for a lifetime.

UPTET exam latest news 2021 - As per the reposts, Prashant Kumar, ADG, Law & Order said that the UPTET 2021 exam scheduled to be held today stands cancelled due to an alleged paper leak. Dozens of suspects were detained by Special Task Force (STF) in the paper leak case, the investigation is on. Uttar Pradesh government will conduct the exam again within a month.
As per the reports, the UPTET 2021 exam has been cancelled. The UPTET 2021 exam was scheduled to be held today, November 28 for two papers. According to the latest updates, the UPTET 2021 question paper has been leaked through the WhatsApp group. The UPBEB will announce the revised exam dates of UPTET 2021 later online on the official website - updeled.gov.in.
Candidates have to carry UPTET admit card 2021 to the exam centre, without which entry will not be allowed. Candidates along with a valid id proof have to carry two photographs same as the one uploaded while applying for the UPTET 2021 exam.
UPBEB will announce the UPTET 2021 result online on the official website on December 28, 2021. Candidates can check the UPTET result 2021 by entering their valid login credentials including roll number and password.
In case of any discrepancy in the UPTET answer key 2021, candidates can challenge or object the answer key till December 6, 2021. The final UPTET 2021 answer key will be released after considering the objections raised by candidates on December 24, 2021.

The UPTET 2021 question paper will have multiple choice questions and candidates will have to identify the correct answer and colour the circle with the black ballpoint pen. Candidates must not use any other colour ballpoint pen or pencil. Also, candidates should not try to change the answer by erasing it or adding a whitener as then the OMR sheet will not be evaluated.
Before the commencement of the UPTET 2021 exam, the invigilator will read out some important instructions which the candidates must ensure that they follow. The instructions will be pertaining to how and when to open the UPTET question test booklet, how to answer the questions when to leave the exam hall and also regarding the conduct of the candidate in the exam hall.

Candidates are not allowed to carry any eatables, soft or hard drinks, electronics, bluetooth devices or any form of paper that might be considered as cheating material is not permitted inside the UPTET exam centre. Certain exceptions are made in case the candidate has a certain medical condition, then they are allowed to carry their medication, etc. with the prior permission of the authorities.
