NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 12, 2018: Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has announced the UPTET result 2018 for paper II on December 11 in online mode. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website - http://upbasiceduboard.gov.in . At the time of checking the result of UPTET candidates have to enter their roll number and captcha in the login window.

The result of UPTET carries candidate’s name, roll number/registration number, date of birth, category, subject-wise marks and overall marks secured in the exam. After the declaration of
UPTET result 2018
, the authorities will also release the district-wise cutoff for each category. Candidates are required to obtain more than or equal to UPTET cutoff marks in order to qualify in the exam.
Candidates qualifying in the exam are eligible to receive the UPTET eligibility certificate which is valid for 5 years. The eligibility certificate of UPTET 2018 can be collected from the district education board by submitting a xerox copy of admit card and photo identity card.
UPTET Paper II exam was held on November 18 in offline mode for candidates for accessing candidates eligibility and aptitude for becoming teachers for elementary classes. UPTET Paper II exam was conducted for selecting teachers for class VI to VIII.
UPTET exam was conducted across multiple exam centres in 75 cities of the state in which 16,94,530 candidates appeared for the examination. Paper I was conducted for candidates who had applied for primary classes (I to V) and Paper II was held for candidates who had applied for upper primary classes (VI to VIII).
The authorities had already released the UPTET paper I result for primary level on December 5 in which 33 percent of candidates have qualified in the exam. Earlier, the result of UPTET for both the papers was scheduled to be declared by December 8, however, the result of paper I had been announced on December 5 whereas paper II result has been declared on December 11.
