Subscribe NowNEW DELHI, DECEMBER 14, 2018: Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) is conducting UTET in offline mode on December 14 in two shifts. The primary level (Paper I) examination is being conducted from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm whereas the elementary level (Paper II) exam is being conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. UTET 2018 is being held across multiple exam centres in 13 districts of Uttarakhand.
Candidates who are appearing for the exam were advised to reach at least one and a half hour before the examination begins. They were also required to carry a blue/black ball point pen and their admit card of UTET 2018 along with one of the photo identity proofs - Voter ID Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Driving License or any other id issued by State or Central Government to the exam centre of UTET. Also, candidates are not allowed to use or take any of the electronic devices such as calculators, mobile and any textual material printed or written, bits of papers, envelope, etc. with them inside the examination hall.
Candidates must note that without their admit card and the required documents they are not allowed to enter the examination hall.
The admit card of UTET 2018 could be downloaded from the official website - http://ubse.uk.gov.in/pages/display/90-departmental-exam--utet till the date of examination.
Uttarakhand Board of School Education will release the UTET answer key for both the papers and all the sets within few days. The result of UTET is expected to be declared in January in online mode. Based on the result of UTET, candidates will be awarded UTET eligibility certificate which will be valid for 7 years.
UTET is conducted in offline mode to access candidates eligibility and aptitude for becoming teachers for primary and elementary classes. UTET Paper I exam is held for those candidates who wish to become teacher for class I to V, while Paper II is for those who wish to be teachers from class VI to VIII in the schools of Uttarakhand.
