Uttarakhand Govt Orders 3 Universities to Ensure Teachers Get Salary

New Delhi - Due to the outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic, the Government of Uttarakhand has given clear instructions to its three major universities to make sure that they disburse the salaries to the lecturers and outsourced employees who are employed in their private postgraduate affiliated colleges.

The postgraduate private colleges which come under Kumaun University, Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, HN Bahuguna University are the ones who have been informed to disburse the salaries to their respective teachers.

Considering the situation of the pandemic coronavirus, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawat on Friday conveyed to extend the lockdown tenure to end the widespread covid-19.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Uttarakhand till Friday was 35 as per the Health Ministry of India.

Talking of India, the confirmed total cases of coronavirus till Friday has jumped to a staggering 6761, according to the information rendered by the Health Ministry and family Welfare. Around 6039 are the active covid-19 cases out of 6761 peoples who are currently infected. Over 206 people infected by the covid-19 have died whereas 515 people have been successfully cured.
