Vellore Institute of Technology announces M.Tech admission 2020

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has announced the admission to its M.Tech programme, Batch 2020-22. Candidates can now fill and submit the application form in online mode by paying an application fee of Rs. 1200. The last date to submit the online application form is May 15, 2020. The admissions will be done on the basis of the candidate's performance in VITMEE 2020. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria specified by the authorities. Ineligible candidates will not be offered admission.

Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the M.Tech programme, candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria specified by the authorities. In case a candidate fails to meet any requirement, he or she will be disqualified.

Should have graduated with a full-time degree from any recognized institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% or First class for M.Tech. degree programmes.

Candidates appearing for their final degree exam are also eligible to apply. Candidates should have completed their final year before the selection counselling at VIT.

It is mandatory for the candidates to produce a statement of final year marks and Provisional degree certificate before August 15th, 2020, failing which admission will be cancelled with the forfeit of admission fee.
Application Process
The authorities have released the online application form for VITMEE 2020. The last date to fill the application form is May 15, 2020. Candidates are required to fill the application form by providing details like personal, contact, and academic qualification. After filling up the form, candidates will have to make a payment of the application fee of Rs. 1200.
Admission Process
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in VITMEE 2020. The authorities will publish the list of all the shortlisted candidates on the official website for an interview or counselling at Vellore/Chennai/VIT Bhopal/VIT-AP. Also, selected candidates will have to make a payment of the Rs. 11,800 as counselling fee. It will be a non-refundable fee but will be adjusted in the tuition fees once the candidate joins the institute.
