VIT M.Tech students placed in tech giants Intel, Qualcomm

NEW DELHI: Technology major Intel and Qualcomm has selected more than 100 M.Tech students of Vellore Institute of Technology for their internship program. As per the reports, Intel has selected 106 students at the monthly stipend of Rs.40,000 per month, which, on conversion after the internship, would count to Rs.18 lakhs per annum CTC. Another tech giant Qualcomm has selected 5 students at the monthly stipend of Rs.45,000 per month which would count to Rs.29 lakh per annum CTC after completion of internship. The whole recruitment process was conducted online.
