VIT-TBI Commences Training Programme in Bio-Analytical Instruments

NEW DELHI, MAY 15: Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Technology Business Incubator (VIT-TBI) has commenced a 5 day training programme in basic concepts in analytical instrumentation along with hands-on training in various instruments from May 13, 2019.

This provides an opportunity for graduates in B.Sc., M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology and research scholars to participate in the training programme and acquire software handling experience in UPLC and HPLC and use of other techniques like Western Blotting, qRT-PCR, 1D & 2D Electrophoresis, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy and UV-Vis spectroscopy.

Participants were required to send demand draft for Rs. 5,000 favouring “VIT-Technology Business Incubator” payable at Vellore to The Co-ordinator (Analytical Instrumentation Program), Technology Tower, Room No: 012, BIRAC-BioNEST Laboratory, Bioincubation facility VIT Technology Business Incubator, Vellore – 632014, to participate in the training programme. VIT-TBI is a joint initiative between Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore and Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
