VIT Vellore organises 18th International Conference on Intelligent Systems Design and Applications on December 6, 7& 8

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 7: Vellore Institute of Technology is conducting its 18 th Annual International Conference on Intelligent Systems Design and Applications from December 6 to 8.
The Dean of the School, Balakrushna Tripathy cordially welcomed all the guests and gathering to the International Conference. Professor Anand A Samuel, Vice Chancellor, lecturers, and students keenly took part in the conference upon its commencement.
Organised by the School of Information Technology and Engineering and coordinated by Professors Aswani Kumar Cherukuri and Sathyamurthy, the 3-day conference has been inaugurated by Raija Halonen, Professor of Information Processing Science at the University of Oulu, Finland.
While addressing the dignitaries of the institute and others in the conference after the inauguration, Ms. Halonen admitted that she was glad to see the amount of research work taking place in various departments of VIT.
She, too, emphasised on the fact that the technological advancements are growing at a rapid pace in India and with the help of these advanced and sophisticated technologies in the country, the problems in the information technology sector are being resolved.
Professor Halonen encouraged the students present at the conference by saying that the developments in information technology are not only restricted to Finland, the United States and India, but they are reaching and expanding in other countries of the world too. So, keeping the same in their mind, all the students and young research scholars should strive towards developing information technology for the betterment of their society and country.
