NEW DELHI, MAY 9: Vellore Institute of Technology has commenced the counselling process for B.Tech admissions at VIT for the year 2019-20 on May 9. The counselling session was inaugurated by Dr. Sekar Viswanathan, Vice President, VIT as he gave admission letter to the toppers. Top officials from VIT - Dr. Sandhya Pentareddy, Executive Director, Dr. Anand A. Samuel, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. S. Narayanan, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dr. K. Manivannan, Director (UG Admissions) were present at the inauguration ceremony held on the first day of counselling. Sajal Pundhir from Uttar Pradesh was the first student to get admission in VITEEE 2019 counselling. The counselling process of VITEEE 2019 will go on till May 15 simultaneously at Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amaravati (AP) campuses.

VITEEE 2019 was conducted in online mode from April 10 to 21, 2019 for admission into B.Tech courses at different VIT campuses. Admission for 3 year UG courses and 5 year UG courses is also open and aspirants can apply for admission through the official website of Vellore Institute of Technology.
