Download EbookThe Vellore Institute of Technology(VIT) will commence the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026 from tomorrow, April 28, for admission to its BTech courses across Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Andhra Pradesh campuses. The engineering entrance test will be conducted till May 3 in computer-based mode across multiple slots.
Ahead of the entrance test, the VIT has enabled the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) window for candidates to obtain their VITEEE 2026 admit cards. Students allotted the April 28 examination slot can log in to the official portal, viteee.vit.ac.in, to download their hall tickets. The OTBS portal will remain accessible for hall ticket download until May 1, with the university releasing each admit card 48 hours before the candidate’s scheduled test session.
Applicants must bring a printed copy of the VITEEE 2026 hall ticket to the test venue, as candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to appear for the examination. For this year’s entrance test, VIT has arranged centres across around 130 Indian cities along with nine overseas locations to conduct the computer-based exam.

The examination is scheduled in two sessions each day, and candidates can view their assigned exam date, test city, and shift details through the OTBS portal.
VITEEE 2026 Admit Card: Steps to download
Candidates appearing for the VIT entrance examination can obtain their admit cards by following the steps given below:

Open the official VITEEE website, viteee.vit.ac.in and access the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) portal.

Log in using the application number, password, and the displayed security code.

After signing in, click on the hall ticket download option.

The VITEEE 2026 admit card will appear on the screen; candidates should verify all particulars and download it.

Take a clear printed copy of the hall ticket for exam-day use, as only a hard copy will be accepted at the test centre.
After the conclusion of VITEEE 2026, the institute will announce results in the form of an All India Rank list, on the basis of which the online counselling process for BTech admissions will be carried out
