Download NowNEW DELHI: Rupayan Pal has emerged as the West Bengal Class 12 Board Exam 2025 topper with a score of 497 out of 500 — the highest in two years. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the WB HS toppers 2025 for the science, commerce, and humanities streams. A total of 4,82,948 (4.82 lakh) students will be able to download their WB HS result 2025 from the official website, wbchse.wb.gov.in. As per the WB HS Result 2025, boys outperformed girls by recording a pass percentage of 92.03%. The pass rate of girls stood at 88.12%.
Students will have to enter their WB HS roll number and registration number as given in the hall ticket to check results at result.wb.gov.in. The officials announced the shift to a semester-based system for Class 12 students from the next year. Moreover, the board announced the WB HS results in percentile for the first time.
The highest score recorded by WB HS toppers in previous years stands at 498 in 2022. However, in the last two years, Abhik Das from Alipurduar and Subhranshu Sarkar both scored 496 marks (99.2%) in 2024 and 2023, respectively.
WB HS Toppers List 2025
As per WB HS stream-wise results 2025, the pass percentage of science group is 99.46%, commerce at 97.52%, and arts stood at 88.5%. As per the WB HS toppers list 2025, six students have bagged rank 5 and eight students have secured rank 6 in Class 12.
