Kalimpong district is the top-performing district with a pass percentage of 96.26% followed by Purba Medinipur (94.49%) and Kolkata.

A total of 57 students have emerged as West Bengal 10th class topper 2024. The topper list includes one student at rank 1, one student at rank 2, 3 student at rank 2, one student at rank 4 and 5. Rank 10 has been shared by 18 students.

The overall pass percentage of Madhyamik board exam has risen by 0.16% as compared to last year. This year's overall pass percentage is 86.31% whereas, last year's pass percentage was 86.15%.

This year, 25.59% more girls appeared as compared to boys. 5,08,698 girls appeared in Class 10 exams, whereas only 4,03,900 boys appeared in the madhyamik board exams.
