NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has released an online recruitment notification for the recruitment of constable, lady constable, sub-inspector/lady sub-inspector of police (unarmed branch), sub-inspector of police (armed branch) and several other posts. The recruitment notification is released on the official website of WB Police - wbpolice.gov.in . Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply till February 20, 2021. Kolkata Police Recruitment 2021: Vacancies
There are a total of 9,720 vacancies released under the Kolkata Police Recruitment 2021.
For sub-inspector (SI) posts, there are 1,088 vacancies while for constable posts there are 8,632 vacancies.
WB Police Recruitment 2021 Apply Online: Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for WB Police recruitment 2021 varies as per the posts. For constable posts, candidates must have qualified the Madhyamik examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. For sub-inspector posts, candidates must have a qualified bachelor’s degree. The minimum age limit is 18-27 years for constable and for SI it is 20-27 years.

Pay the application fees in favour of “West Bengal Police Recruitment Board" from post offices in West Bengal with an “India Post Challan Form”.

The fee can also be paid from Punjab National Bank (erstwhile United Bank of India).
