NEW DELHI, JUNE 8: West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the West Bengal 12th result. The board has declared the result for all streams in the online mode. Students need to enter their roll number to view and download the result. The overall pass percentage this year is 83.57%. Granthan Sengupta from Jalpaiguri District School from Arts stream bagged the first position with 99.2% while the second place has gone to Ritwik Kumar Sahu, who scored 98.6% in the Science stream. Ritwik has also bagged AIR 13 in NEET 2018 with a total score of 676. The West Bengal 12th board exams were conducted from March 27 to April 11, 2018.
Last year, WBSE 12th result was announced on May 30, 2017. Out of approximately 8 lakh students who appeared, the overall pass percentage was 85.65.

Students can also check their result via SMS. by typing WB12<space>roll number and sending it to 5676750 or 58888.
WBCHSE is the conducting authority for the Class 12 examination in the state. The higher secondary examination is conducted annually and simultaneously all the over the state.
