Download NowThe West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education on Thursday postponed the higher secondary third-semester exams by a week due to bypolls in two assembly constituencies -- Nandigram and Rejinaqar -- on October 6, officials said. According to a notification issued by the council, the exams scheduled for October 5, 6 and 7 will now be held on October 12, 13 and 14, respectively. The exam scheduled for October 5 will be held on October 12 from 11 am to 12.30 pm.

The subjects include mathematics, business mathematics and business statistics, basic mathematics for social science, agriculture, journalism and mass communication, Sanskrit, Persian and Arabic. The October 6 exam has been rescheduled to October 13, from 11 am to 12.30 pm. It will cover cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data science, sociology, fisheries and aquaculture. The exam scheduled for October 7 will now be held on October 14, from 11 am to 12.30 pm. The subjects include biological science, political science, and costing and taxation.
