WBCHSE to reopen West Bengal HS exam 2025-26 enrollment on February 12; Class 12 admit card today

NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will reopen the online enrollment process for higher secondary examination or West Bengal HS exam 2025-26 on February 12. As per the West Bengal HS routine 2025, the board exams for Class 12 students will be held from March 3 to 18.

The council for higher secondary education decided to reopen the enrollment window for 2 days after receiving several requests from students, parents, and the head of the institutions. “The online enrolment of the students for Higher Secondary Examination, 2025 is reopened for 02 days from 12.02.2025 to 13.02.2025 with fine,” the official notification read.

Students applying for the WB Class 12th board exam 2025 during the extended period will have to pay a late fee as well. The school principals have instructed to send the forwarding letters stating the details of the students, including attendance, to the concerned deputy secretary of the regional office of the council.

The officials are also required to submit the letter along with the attested copy of registration certificate, Class 11 statement of marks, signature of the student in a blank page duly countersigned by the HOI.

The state board earlier announced to issue the West Bengal HS admit card 2025 for Class 12 board exams today, February 7, at 10.30 am at the distribution centres. It had also made minor changes in WB HS Class 12 syllabus for several subjects, including English, Hindi, accountancy, political science.

WB HS Board Exam 2025: Appointment letter for examiners

In addition, the council informed all school principals that the institution-wise appointment letter of examiners and scrutinizers of the teachers for WB HS answer sheet evaluation and scrutiny of HS exam 2025 is available on the official portal, wbchseexam.wb.gov.in, through HOI login.

“All the HOls are hereby requested to download, print and hand over the appointment letters to the concerned teachers soon after receiving the letters and instruct them to report the concerned Head Examiners accordingly. In case of mismatch of any particular(s) of the teacher(s) in the appointment letter(s), please inform the concerned Deputy Secretary of the Regional Office soon,” it added.
