Approximately 7.10 lakh candidates took part in the WBCHSE Higher Secondary Examination 2026 this year. Among them, about 6,35,864 students appeared for the fourth semester examinations, while the remaining candidates participated in supplementary exams and papers conducted under the old syllabus pattern.
