Subscribe NowNEW DELHI: The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has taken the decision to conduct the West Bengal Civil Services (WBCS) interview in online mode. The decision was taken by WBPSC in the wake of the massive rise of COVID19 cases in the country. WBPSC has decided to conduct the WBCS civil services 2019 interview for Group A and B posts online. The online interviews of WBCS 2019 will be conducted from April 30 to May 20, 2021, in online mode (excluding Government holidays).
Candidates will be informed about the time slot for the WBCS interview through e-mail. WBPSC has mentioned strict guidelines in the notification related to the WBCS personality test.
WBCS Online Interview Guidelines

Aspirants will have to attend the online interview by accessing the link provided to them in the email from a video conference supporting device having high-speed internet.

Candidates who will appear for the WBCS interview will have to log in 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time of the interview and will wait for the logout instructions after the interview is over.

The mobile phone of the interviewees will have to be active during the interview so that calls can be made to them if necessary

The mobile phone should be in silent mode, so any other call other than the interview conducting officials cannot disturb the process.
Documents required at the time of WBCS Interview
Candidates must scan and uploaded the following documents on the official website of WBCS three days prior to the interview date:

Recent passport-size colour photograph

Certificate/admit card of Class 10/equivalent as date of birth proof

SC/ST/OBC certificate, if applicable
-
Graduation certificate/mark sheet
-
PWD certificate, if applicable
-
Current ‘NCL’ certificate (for OBC candidates only)

Choice sheet in the format by the commission
The WBCS mains exam 2019 was conducted from July 25 to 28, 2019 in the offline, written mode. Those candidates who qualified in the written are eligible to appear in the interview.
