WBPSC has announced the WBCS prelims exam date 2021 along with other important dates. WBCS admit card 2021 will be available soon.

NEW DELHI : The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has announced the West Bengal Civil Services (WBCS) Prelims revised exam dates 2021 in online mode. Along with the WBCS prelims exam date 2021, the commission has also announced the exam dates of West Bengal Audit & Accounts Service prelims and WBCS Mains 2020. As per the WBCS new exam dates 2021, the WBCS prelims exam 2021 is scheduled to be conducted August 22, 2021, and WBCS Main exam 2020 will be held on August 27, 28, 29 and 31, 2021.
Candidates can visit the WBCS official website - wbpsc.gov.in - to download the WBCS exam date 2021 notice. Earlier, the WBCS Prelims exam and WBCS Main exam 2020 was supposed to be conducted on May 30 and May 17 to 21 respectively, which got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and Bengal assembly elections.

WBCS Exam Pattern 2021
As per the WBCS exam pattern, candidates need to appear in the three stages of the recruitment process. In the preliminary stage, there will be 200 multiple-choice questions. Students will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. Candidates shortlisted in the WBCS Prelims exam are required to appear in the main examination. There will be eight papers in the WBCS main exam carrying 1,600 marks. The final stage is the interview round.
