WBCS Answer Key 2019 (Unofficial) for Prelims Exam Released; Know How to Download

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 9: Coaching institutes have released the unofficial answer key of WBCS prelims exam 2019. To check and download the WBCS answer key 2019 by coaching institutes, candidates can click on the link below. Candidates can compare their answers with that in the unofficial answer key. Thus, they can calculate their estimates score in the prelims examination.
Earlier, before the release of WBCS answer key 2019 by coaching institutes, the exam got over at 2.30 pm. WBCS prelims exam started at 12 noon today, on February 9 and continued for next 2..30 hours. The preliminary examination had only one paper of “General Studies”, which was of objective type with a total of 200 multiple-choice questions.
As per the marking scheme, for each correct answer, candidates will get 1 mark. The questions were asked from English Composition for 25 marks, General Science (25 marks), Current events of National & International Importance (25 marks), History of India (25 marks), Geography of India with special reference to West Bengal (25 marks), Indian Polity and Economy (25 marks), Indian National Movement (25 marks), and General Mental Ability (25 marks). These questions were of the graduation standard.
Public Service Commission, West Bengal will release the official answer key of WBCS 2019 prelims examination in March 2019.
The result of the preliminary exam will be declared in June 2019. After the result announcement, the shortlisted candidates will be eligible for appearing in the mains exam, the dates for which has not been declared yet.
WBCS is conducted in three stages – prelims, mains and interview. In order to be shortlisted, all candidates have to clear all the three stages of the recruitment exam.
