WBCS Mains Exam 2019 Begins; Know More Details Here

NEW DELHI, JULY 25: Public Service Commission, West Bengal is conducting West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBCS) mains exam from July 25 to 28, 2019. Around 15,997 candidates who have been shortlisted based on the preliminary exam are eligibile for appearing in the main exam. WBCS mains exam is being conducted across different exam centres paper-wise in two shifts - (9 am to 12 noon) & (2 pm to 5 pm) in West Bengal.

As per the exam pattern, the mains exam is being held for 1600 marks where a total of 8 papers - six compulsory papers and two optional papers. Each paper carries 200 marks where candidates are given 3 hours to complete each paper.

The examination authority has issued the admit card for the mains exam on July 11, 2019, at - pscwbapplication.in. Candidates are able to download the admit card till the day of examination by entering enrollment number & date of birth or first name of the date of birth. Along with the admit card, candidates need to carry any prescribed photo-identity proof.

Candidates who will be selected in order of merit in the main examination for all the services and posts included in Groups A, B, C and D will be eligibile to appear for Personality Test. For candidates who have applied for Group ‘B’ Service (West Bengal Police Service) will have to appear for interview about their suitability for the service.

The finally selected candidates will be recruited to the different groups as per their preferences to the Public Service Commission, West Bengal.
