NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) is now conducting the WBCS prelims exam at various exam centres in West Bengal. Students were allowed to enter the exam hall only after showing their WBCS admit card 2021 and valid photo identity proof. Candidates were seen following the social distancing norms and other guidelines regarding COVID-19 at the exam centre.
Students who reached late were not allowed to enter the exam hall as the gate was closed 10 minutes before the scheduled WBCS 2021 exam time. Guardians are asked not to overcrowd the exam centre of WBCS 2021.
Get seated at allotted seat- Students had to sit where their WBCS 2021 roll numbers were marked. It was important to fill the attendance sheet provided by the exam authority of WBCS 2021.
OMR Sheet Instructions - As the WBCS 2021 exam is being conducted in offline mode, candidates had to open the seal of OMR sheet as per the instructions and after the green signal was given by the invigilator. If the booklet was defective, students were asked to bring it to the invigilator's notice.
Match serial number of booklet - It is mandatory to check the serial number and page number of the WBCS 2021 answer booklet to avoid any kind of inconvenience.
Gadgets are not allowed - No one was allowed to carry any kind of electronic devices or gadgets such as smartphones, smart watches, bluetooth or any other device.
Exit time from the exam hall - Candidates were not allowed to exit the exam hall of WBCS 2021 without the permission of the invigilator. At the end of WBCS 2021, the first bell will be rung 15 minutes before the end time. Students can go out only after giving their booklet to the invigilator.
The WBCS 2021 exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates need to qualify this stage to be eligible for the mains round of WBCS 2021.
