WBCSC releases WB SET answer key 2018 & question papers; know how to check

Subscribe NowNEW DELHI, DECEMBER 26, 2018: West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) has released the WB SET answer key 2018 along with the question papers of all the sets - X, Y and Z and both the papers - paper I and II. Candidates who appeared for the examination on December 2 can check their questions and answers in pdf format. To check WB SET answer key 2018 and question papers, candidates have to visit the official website - http://wbcsc.org.in/wbcsc and click on the download link of the answer key.
With the help of WB SET answer key 2018 , candidates can check their answers to the questions marked in the entrance examination. Candidates will also be provided with an opportunity to submit objections in case they find errors/mistakes in the official answer keys. To challenge the answer key of WB SET, candidates will have to send an email to the authorities with the explanation for the objection to claim the correctness of the answer. After evaluating the objections submitted by the candidates, the exam authority will release the final answer key of WB SET.
After publishing of final WB SET answer key, the WBCSC will declare WB SET result in the first week of January 2019. The result will be available either in the form of pdf or in login window. In case the WB SET result is declared in the form of pdf, candidates can check their roll numbers or else candidates will have to login by using the required credentials in the login window.
As per WBCSC, top 6% of the candidates taking the test (in both papers) and securing minimum 40% aggregate marks (General Category) and minimum 35% marks (SC/ST/PWD/Transgenders) will be considered qualified in the exam.
WB SET is held every year for offering WB SET eligibility certificates to the qualifying candidates so that they can be recruited as Assistant Professors across the institutes, colleges and universities in West Bengal.
