NEW DELHI, MAY 25: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board will be conducting WBJEE 2019 tomorrow i.e., May 26 as a pen and paper based examination. Candidates who have registered for the engineering entrance examination will have to report to their respective exam centres to attempt WBJEE 2019.

WBJEE 2019 will consist of two papers - Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics & Chemistry). Both papers have to be attempted and qualified for admission into the B.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes. Those who attempt only Paper 2 will be eligible only for Pharmacy admissions.

Important Guidelines for WBJEE 2019

Before the examination, there are some important guidelines that the candidates are expected to remember to ensure a smooth process.

  • It is advised that the candidates report atleast 30 minutes before the examination .

  • The candidates will have to present their WBJEE 2019 admit card along with an original photo identity proof at the examination centre. Without the admit card and ID proof, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the centre.

  • A colour passport photograph also has to be brought to the examination centre. The photograph should be the same as the one used in the application form.

  • No outside items will be allowed inside the examination hall. Electronic devices, watches, pens and pencils cannot be taken inside.

  • The pen given inside the examination hall has to be used to mark the answers.

The examination will be 4 hours long and will consist of 155 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). All questions will be from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The result of WBJEE 2019 will be announced on July 2.
