: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has announced the WBJEE 2020 result on August 7 on the official website -wbjeeb.nic.in. This year, a total of 73119 candidates had appeared for the WBJEE exam 2020, Along with the result, the authorities have also announced the WBJEE 2020 toppers list.
In the WBJEE results 2020, 71% rank holders are from West Bengal, while 31% from CBSE, and 3% are from ISC board. Souradeep Das from Uttar Dinajpur has topped WBJEE 2020 exam while Subham Ghosh from Paschim Burdwan and Sreemanti Dey from Kolkata have secured the second and third rank respectively. Candidates who have qualified WBJEE 2020 exam are eligible to participate in the counselling process. This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the authorities have decided to conduct WBJEE counselling in online mode. WBJEE 2020 counselling schedule is expected to be released by next week. WBJEE 2020 rank holders are not required to pay counselling fees this year.
WBJEE 2020 was held as a pen and paper based test on February 2. It is conducted by WBJEEB for admission into the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the participating institutes. Every year, over 1.27 Lakh register online to appear in the WBJEE exam.
