WBJEE 2023 counselling registration starts; things to keep in mind

NEW DELHI: registration for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2023 counselling starts today, July 20. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has started the counselling for candidates who have obtained a rank in JEE Main 2023, for candidates who have scored a rank in WBJEE and for candidates who have both WBJEE and JEE Main ranks.

The WBJEE 2023 counselling application last date is July 25. Candidates can register online for the WBJEE counselling 2023 at wbjeeb.nic.in. The WBJEE is a state-level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture programmes in West Bengal’s government and self-financed institutions and universities.

To register and apply online for WBJEE counselling 2023, applicants will have to login at the wbjeeb.nic.in and register themselves with WBJEE roll numbers 2023. According to the WBJEE counselling 2023 schedule, the round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on August 1. The WBJEE 2023 mock seat allocation based on choices filled-in by candidates will be displayed on July 27. Candidates will also have the option to modify and can lock their choices by July 28.

WBJEE 2023 Counselling Registration: Key Points

• Candidates must provide necessary personal details, academic details, bank account details (in case of any refund), address, etc.

• Candidates must provide their application number/roll number and rank of WBJEE-2023 and/or JEE(Main)-2023 and the following academic information.

• Passing status, total marks and obtained marks in English of Class-10th Standard.

• Passing status, overall full marks and obtained total marks in Class-12th Standard.

• Passing status, total marks and obtained marks in Class-12th Standard Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology /Biology/Computer Sc./ Computer Application/Technical/ Vocational subjects and English. If a subject is not applicable for any candidate, he/she may select "NA".

• Candidates must be very cautious at the time of providing various information during registration.

• There is no provision to make any correction/editing after final submission of the registration by the candidate. Hence, if no choice is available to the candidate OR no seat is allotted due to wrong input given by the candidate, WBJEEB will not be legally responsible for such wrong input given by a candidate and its after effect
