NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has announced the exam schedule for the recruitment of Sub Inspector in the Subordinate Food and Supplies Service, Grade 3. Candidates will be able to download the WBPSC SI admit card 2024 through the official website, wbpsc.gov.in from March 2 onwards.
As per the schedule, WBPSC SI exam will be conducted on March 16, 17, 2024. The examination will be conducted in 3 shifts — from 9:30 am to 11 am, 12:30 pm to 2 pm and 3:30 pm to 5 pm.
“Please note that the entry into the examination venue shall be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled time of commencement of the examination. No candidate shall be allowed to enter into the examination venue after the closing time,” the official notification read.
Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the WBPSC SI admit card.

“A candidate meant for a particular venue, date and session will, under no circumstances, be allowed to appear in any other venue, date and session. No request in this regard will be entertained”, the notification added.
The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 480 SI vacancies in the department. The WBPSC SI admit card is a mandatory document for the examination day. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the recruitment examination if they fail to produce their admit cards.
The commission has clarified that mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, portable scanner, bluetooth device, gadgets of communication and clipboard are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted.

Candidates can follow the easy steps given below to download the WBPSC SI admit card.
- Visit the official website, wbpsc.gov.in
- Go to the “DOWNLOAD ADMIT-CARD (FOR WRITTEN/ SCREENING TEST)” link once active
- Key in your login details and submit
- Download and take a printout for further use.
