NEW DELHI: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will declared the West Bengal HS result 2024 today, May 8. The West Bengal 12th result 2024 will be announced at 1 pm via a press conference. Students who appeared for the board exams will be able to check the West Bengal HS Result 2024 by visiting the official website, wbchse.wb.gov.in. West Bengal HS Result 2024 Today Live
The West Bengal HS 2024 exams were conducted from February 16 to 29. In the WB Uchcha Madhyamik 2024, students must achieve a minimum of 30% in aggregate to pass. To pass the WB Higher Secondary exam result 2024, students must secure at least 30 marks out of 100 in each compulsory subject.
WB HS result 2024 via SMS
West Bengal Board offers an offline method to check WB HS result 2024 through SMS. To obtain the West Bengal HS result via SMS, candidates need to follow simple steps: Type WB12 <space> roll number and send it to either 5676750 or 58888. Subsequently, the WB 12th result 2024 will be sent to their mobile phones. The West Bengal Higher Secondary result 2024 will include subject-wise marks obtained and overall qualifying status.
WBCHSE HS Result 2024: Past year's statistics
In the West Bengal 12th result, a total of 824,891 candidates appeared, with 737,807 students passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 89.25 percent. Among boys, the pass percentage was notably high at 91.86 percent. East Midnapore district recorded the highest pass percentage at 95.75 percent. Last year, a total of 87 students featured in the top 10 rank list, of whom, 18 were from Hooghly district.
